Throughout the equity-librium project I learned many things. I learned how to do torque diagrams, balance mobiles, learn spanish, write trait behavior stories, and talk about our project to random strangers about it.
When I got the project description my heart dropped. I thought that I was going to fail. But once I read through it I was optimistic and saw it as a fun but rough project. When we started torque diagrams I almost wanted to give it up then and there, But after a while I got used to it and finished.
I learned that Math/ Physics is definitely isn't my strong suit. I also learned that Ryan is good at explaining it. He really helped me understand it and work on it. Overall I took away a lot of knowledge that could be helpful in the future.
Spanish is a new thing for me. I learned that it was hard but fun. Mr. Hulio teaches it that was its just notes and quizzes. He makes it fun and its probably my favorite class. He makes it that way your not bored and wishing you were doing something else. I really like it and he makes me want to learn more.
I feel like with the writing part we had so much space to elaborate and revise. I learned that revision is a major key in writing. My behavior trait writing was about a boy who dropped his ice cream and I felt like I could go into so much depth and when I did It felt like my writing had so much more meaning.
The only person I collaborated with was Jenny. I felt like my other partner really didn't want to take part in the project so they really didn't do anything to help. Between Jenny and I, we collaborated and divided the work evenly that way there wasn't any upsets.
In the end I thought this project was a really fun learning curve and I feel like I can take lots away from it. At the exhibition all of the other people who were stationed with us, we all helped explain our project to strangers and was a fun time. I feel like each person walked away with more knowledge about what our school is like and what we do.
Overall I think I would give myself an A. I thought even though I didn't get everything right the first time I went back to make sure it was right and done correctly. One Major thing I took away from this project was to not give up. There were so many times where I wanted to just drop everything and walk away from it. But I'm glad I didn't because I learned to push myself further than I expected to.
