1.)How challenging was this project for you? Be specific.
Overall the project was pretty challenging, super fast pace and not like any project I've done. Compared to ninth grade this project was super fast. Most of the projects we did were 2 to three months long where this project was only one month. The most challenging parts about this project for me was getting all ten paragraphs how I wanted them.
2.)What was the easiest part of this project?
I'd say the easiest part was picking my background for the ten paragraphs. It was pretty obvious that most of my paragraphs were based on surfing or the beach, so I thought it'd be cool to put the paragraphs on one of my surfboards.
3.)How comfortable did you feel during your presentation?
Well I was a little confused when the teacher explained it so I was a little nervous that if I got picked first I'd be a deer in headlights and not no what to do. Thankfully a few kids went before me and I got the gist of it. I went up, did my explanation and didn't get anxious during it.
4.) Did you receive critique and feedback from anyone? If so, who? Was the feedback helpful?
Yes I got good and helpful feedback from Gracie and Henna. They were both descriptive on what need to be changed and what needed to stay. After looking over what they told me what needed to be changed I realized what I had done it in a way that didn't make sense to the reader, so I ended up changing it to make sense.
5.) Did you provide kind, specific, and helpful feedback in the peer review session? Who did you asses? Explain
I assessed Gracie and Henna. I believe the that I provided good and helpful feedback. Henna didn't need to change too much in her paragraphs because she was pretty on point as to how she pictured it and how it actually was.
6.) Did you attend the Barnes & Noble book fair?
Unfortunately I did not go. My dad thought that it wasn't mandatory and he already made plans that do so I couldn't go.
7.) Do you think you were on task for the vast majority of the time given in class to work on writing and construction? Explain.
Yes I do. I worked on the project whenever I was given time to. When I wasn't doing the project I would get ahead on my reading log. I may have worked slow on some parts because I was confused but after figuring out what I needed to do I got back up and running quick.
8.)What grade do you think you deserve? Why?
I believe I deserve an A because I worked hard on this project and my final product was unique and distinct from others. I put a lot of effort and time into my paragraphs.
9.)If you could change anything about this project, what would it be?
Well I kind of feel like this project was a little rushed and one thing that might of helped would've been maybe a week or two longer of time to really dial in and perfect our work
