"The Worlds Fair"
What did you learn about your country/region of choice through this project? Explain what and how.
In the worlds fair project I learned that a lot of important or exciting things were created in Chicago in the late 1800's through the early 1900's. Most countries couldn't even invent one thing for a while but Chicago was shoveling out new inventions every week, and good ones too.
What item did you recreate? Why did you choose this item? Are you glad you recreated this item after seeing the final products at exhibition?
We recreated a 3ft tall running faris wheel. We chose this item because, in the time of world fairs stuff big a moving made people flock so we had the same idea for our "worlds fair." I'm glad that we recreated this item because of its huge success at the exhibition. It worked almost flawlessly and everyone was amazed by it.
Describe your prototype process. Was this process helpful/successful? Provide 4 (at least) photos of your prototype.
Pretty much we tried our best to make the best 3D prototype out of cardboard to really see how it would appear before the public. I think this part was successful because it really prepped us for what had came ahead. Unfortunately I don't have photos because I broke my phone and I got a new one without the photos on it.
Based on what you saw at exhibition, which other country would you be interested in learning more about? Explain why.
I would like to learn about Paris because the food and the eiffel tower turned eyes from all around the world and I think that a foreign country could also be fun to learn about.
Do you feel proud of your booth, product, and overall participation at exhibition? Explain why and how. Provide at least 4 photos of your booth and yourself at exhibition. I think our booth was a big hit if not the biggest. Our booth had "Worlds Fair" written all over it. I think that I put in most of my effort in at exhibition because it was the final shebang and before my group really didn't let me do too much. Again super bummed broke my phone and now don't have any photos from exhibition.
How do you think exhibition went?
I think it was a major success.
